Quality Conflict-Free Mineral Policy
The term “Conflict Mineral” refers to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (“3TG”) or any other mineral or its derivatives that the U.S. Secretary of State has determined to be financing conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or an adjoining country. “Conflict-Free Minerals” refers to those minerals that do not finance conflict in the DRC or an adjoining country.

Based on humanitarian and ethical principles, ATX Semiconductor(Weihai)Co.,Ltd. and all its affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as “ATX Group”) are dedicated to the development of a sustainable mechanism for self-regulating, educating, training and managing their supply chains so that any 3TG sourced from the DRC or an adjoining country are conflict-free. Furthermore, ATX Group takes a thoughtful attitude toward solid cooperation among all the parties participating in the chain of distribution of semiconductor devices processed through the integrated circuit packaging, testing, materials and electronic manufacturing services rendered by ATX Group (“ATX Services”) so as to strictly follow relevant guidelines and programs adopted by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI).

In order that any information provided by ATX Group with respect to the status quo regarding Conflict Minerals is accurately verified and made available to any applicable public authority or customer, vendor or investor of ATX Group, ATX Group is committed to taking practical measures and approaches to routinely conduct in good faith a reasonable country of origin inquiry throughout the relevant supply chain to reasonably determine whether or not Conflict Minerals have been used for the performance of ATX Services. Moreover, ATX Group shall implement a specific due diligence process to verify the non-use of Conflict Minerals for the performance of ATX Services by following the recommendations of the 5-Step Framework for Risk-Based Due Diligence in the Mineral Supply Chain contained in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
